Who can apply

The official Saudi eVisa portal lists eligible passport countries. The list covers 66 countries and territories across Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa and Oceania as checked on 19 October 2026 1,2.

Eligibility depends on the passport you use. Residence in an eligible country does not by itself put a different nationality on the eVisa list. The registration screen tells ineligible applicants to contact the nearest Saudi embassy 1,2.

What the eVisa permits

The tourist eVisa permits tourism activities, events, family and relative visits, leisure and Umrah outside Hajj. It does not permit study. Work needs the correct work or residence permission 1.

The standard eVisa lasts one year from issue and permits multiple entries. The total maximum stay stated by the official portal is 90 days. The visa cannot be extended 2.

Passport and application

  • Use a passport from an eligible country with at least 6 months left on your entry date 2.
  • Complete the application at visa.visitsaudi.com and provide an email address 1,2.
  • Pay the amount shown by the official portal. The terms say the fee can change and VAT is added at the applicable rate 2.
  • Approval is sent as an email attachment. Payment does not guarantee approval 2.

If the eVisa list does not cover you

Use the official KSA Visa platform to explore other visa options or contact the nearest Saudi diplomatic mission. KSA Visa states that a visit-visa request can be submitted through the government platform 3.

Do not use a commercial visa form as proof that you qualify. The Saudi government portals are the source for the nationality list, visa conditions and current payment amount 1,3.

Entry is still decided at the border

An issued eVisa does not guarantee admission. The terms require compliance with Saudi entry conditions and say the immigration officer at the port of entry makes the admission decision 2.

Hajj access and entry to Makkah can be subject to seasonal controls. Check current official Saudi notices before travel if your dates overlap the Hajj period 2,3.
