Visa on arrival
The National Tourist Board's official travel FAQ gives US$25 for African Union passport holders and US$80 for other passports. It names reciprocal exemptions for several nationalities 1.
The arrival visa is valid for 30 days and can be extended through Immigration for another 30 days 1.
eVisa and passport
Sierra Leone Immigration links to the official eVisa portal and warns applicants to use that portal only 2,3. Its travel notice advises at least 6 months of passport validity 2.
The public immigration fee page does not currently publish a complete visitor-visa table, so the National Tourist Board document is cited for the arrival figures 1,4.
Passenger security fee status
The bible watch item called for verification of a reported suspension. The reviewed immigration, airport, civil-aviation and gazette pages did not provide a current suspension order or a current legal instrument establishing the fee 2,35.
This page does not state a separate security fee as payable. Travellers should request the official instrument and receipt terms from the airport or aviation authority before paying any separate charge.

- Use the eVisa link on slid.gov.sl 3.
