Use the government portal
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry directs applicants only to visa.nadra.gov.pk and warns that it takes no responsibility for payments made on another visa website 1.
The government ended manual visa applications on 31 January 2021. Applications must be submitted through the online system 2.
Choose the correct route
The portal covers tourist, family visit, business, student, work, official and other categories. Eligibility is tied to the nationality lists and the purpose selected 1.
Applicants must choose the correct passport type, stay duration and Pakistani mission. A wrong passport category can lead to cancellation, and visa fees are non-refundable 3.
Documents and review
The Foreign Ministry instructions require electronic copies of the photograph and supporting documents plus a card for online payment. Some applicants may be called for interview by the selected embassy or consulate 1.
If an application is returned for review, the applicant must make the requested corrections and resubmit within the stated portal period. The visa granted controls both the validity window for entry and the period of stay 1,3.
Fee and timing
Pakistan does not publish one worldwide tourist fee or duration on the general guidance pages. The amount and available stay depend on passport nationality and application route. Use the value shown inside the official application for the selected case 1,3.
